More About Rhonda Ruby
When she and Debbie Guthermann, her late friend and business partner, opened their practice in 1984, their aim was to deliver a vastly superior level of care and patient sensitivity. And to offer patients easier access to cutting edge technology, custom-suited to their hearing needs.
Today, Rhonda continues to actively manage the practice, leaving Kevin and Melissa free to focus on the patients who have come to depend on us. And to keep abreast of all the latest technology that will help their patients most.

More About Kevin Mahaffey
Kevin became interested in working to improve hearing through contact with students at the American School for the Deaf – he grew up in Connecticut just down the street from ASD. A hearing aid user himself, Kevin is invested in finding the best solutions technology can offer by listening to patients’ needs. In his words, “Fitting hearing aids well is part science, part art, and there is no substitute for experience!”
Kevin began his career working clinically at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MA. He later transitioned to the training side of the hearing industry and became the National Sales Manager of Phonak.
Kevin has presented on the topics of hearing aid technology and verification techniques at a number of state and national meetings. He has been published twice in The Hearing Aid Journal focusing on programmable hearing aid technology.
