Office Update Regarding COVID-19

The Difference Between Being Safe and Feeling Safe

Hello, everyone.

The CDC says fully vaccinated people don’t need to wear masks anymore. Out of an abundance of caution, health care facilities like Mass General and the Brigham are still requiring them. At the West Newton Hearing Center, we’re splitting the difference.

We’re asking that patients wear their masks in our common areas—the waiting area and restroom. But you can feel free to remove them in the fitting rooms, if you’ve been fully vaccinated, making it easier and more comfortable to communicate with Kevin, Melissa, and Sarina.

We know Covid cases are trending down. We know that the vaccines are effective. But the concern about this disease is going to linger a little longer. So as we all get used to going maskless again, we ask for your cooperation and kindness in making everyone in our office comfortable.

We’re getting there. A little longer. Thank you.

Thank you for trusting us with your hearing healthcare.
